Bombers End Long Roadie Tonight With Two In The Rapids

There was not much rain in the Battle Creek area, but Wisconsin saw a ton that wiped out a good portion of the Northwoods League schedule Thursday night.

Six of the eight games on Thursday were postponed, including the Battle Creek Bombers first of two games with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. They will now play two tonight at Witter Field, with two seven inning battles.

Game 1 starts at 6:05 p.m. EST tonight (5:05 local time). No starters were named for the first game. The Bombers will send Cameron Ming (Arizona, 1-1) to the mound in Game 2, starting 15 minutes after the completion of Game 1.
