If you've been putting it off, now would be the time to head out to C.O. Brown Stadium to see a very exciting Battle Creek Bombers' team.

The Bombers had an off day Wednesday.  Tonight, they host the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, and then host Fond du Lak on Saturday and Sunday.  It’s the final four home games of the regular season Thursday through Sunday in Battle Creek.

The Rafters won the first half of the season, and are already in the playoffs.  In the second half, they are tied for second in the South Division with the Bombers.  Rockford is a game ahead of both teams in first.  Fond du Lak is in fourth, 3 ½ games back of the Rivets.  All four teams were off on Wednesday.

The Bombers have several of the top hitters in the league, and have scored plenty of runs this season.

They play their final seven games on the road, as the NABF World Series gets underway next week.

Speaking of the NABF World Series.....The BC Merchants will host the NABF World Series starting Wednesday August 9th at Bailey Park.   HBC/Behnke will play this weekend in a regional tournament in Fort Wayne with a chance to still make it into the series.  Other Michigan teams will battle it out in the Saginaw District, so it’s possible that three teams from the state could compete in Battle Creek next week.
