The Battle Creek Bombers had their chances, but were unable to get anybody across the plate in a 5-0 loss to the Wisconsin Woodchucks Wednesday. It's the third time the Bombers have been shut out this season.

The Bomb Squad would leave 10 runners on in the loss. Christian Helsel (Penn State) and Michael Sanderson (Cal Poly) each collected two hits on the night.

Cameron Ming (Arizona) would allow all five Woodchuck runs in five innings of work to suffer the loss. He falls to 2-3 on the season.

The Bombers are on the road for the first portion of their five-game, home-and-home series with the Green Bay Bullfrogs. They begin tonight with a double-header at Joannes Stadium tonight to make up a rain out from June 8th. First pitch is at 6:35pm tonight.
