Borgess Hospital has announced that it is limiting visitor access as a precaution against spreading the flu.  The Michigan Department of Community Health has been warning about a rise in reported flu cases, including some severe cases of H1N1 that have left patients on life support.  Borgess now says that visitors other than siblings have to be 12 years of age or older.  The Critical Care unit and the Birthing Center are now restricted to immediate family only, and only two visitors at a time will be allowed in to see patients in the Emergency and Trauma Center. Hospital Administrators are asking that anyone with a fever or other flu symptoms avoid visiting altogether.
