Branch County Remains Identified

Authorities have identified the remains of a body located by a farmer in Branch County on Friday. An autopsy showed no signs of trauma. Officials believe 40 year-old Brad Alan Washburn, of Bronson, MI, likely died from exposure. Washburn's vehicle was found stuck in a ditch on North Parham Road near the intersection of Lindley Road on February 21, nearly 130-yards from where his body was discovered April 27. The incident remains under investigation.
