After playing undefeated baseball in the National Junior College Athletic Association's Region XII Tournament, the Kellogg Community College Bruins survived a loss and look to win a title Saturday at C.O. Brown Stadium.

In order to earn the Regional title, they will have to defeat the Sinclair Community College (OH) Tartan Pride twice to stay alive. A loss to Sinclair in the first game at Noon will end the Bruins season.

The Bruins started the tourney with a 12-inning victory over Kalamazoo Valley Community College Wednesday and topping Cuyahoga Community College (OH) on Thursday to stay in the winner's bracket.

Kellogg would see Sinclair Friday and fall 3-2 to send them to the loser's bracket of the double-elimination tournament. The Bruins would win in grand fashion Friday night with a 14-4 mercy rule victory over Cuyahoga CC in seven innings.

Today's final games at C.O. Brown are schedule for Noon, with a possible 4pm start for the finale if the Bruins pick up a win in the first game. A Regional title will send the Bruins to the NJCAA Division II Championship in Enid, Oklahoma, next week.
