Bullet Controls?
The gun control advocates are taking a new approach to banning guns and that is attempting to go after the bullets. Essentially an end-around play attempting to circumnavigate the 2nd amendment.
The Daily Caller is reporting on a bill that was introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate to control the purchase of bullets.
The Ammunition Background Check Act was introduced by Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) in the House and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in the Senate.
Senator Richard Blumenthal and Congress woman Debbie Wasserman Schultz informed us that on Monday they had introduced the bill, known as the Ammunition Background Check Act of 2018. They argued that it would help close a "loophole" in the current law.
The bill introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate would require anyone wanting to purchase bullets be subjected to background checks, similar to the background checks required to purchase a firearm.
Congresswoman and former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz stated at a press conference Monday that:
You do not have the right to bear bullets
If you limit a legal person ability to purchase bullets you have effectively limited their access to keep and bear arms.
Interesting tactic, do you think that it will work?
The Democratic Party is no longer looking the other way when it comes to illegal immigrants but they are actually promoting the act and them. Along with illegal immigrants you are going to get many who have criminal tendencies, just like legal immigrants and Americans citizens there is a segment of these societies that will commit illegal acts.
We have seen many in the Democratic Party leadership from both the Federal and State level that are now attempting to help illegal immigrant criminals eluded the police and capture. Do we really need more people in America that have criminal tendencies, do we not have enough legal immigrants and America citizens who will commit crimes against us, why add more.
With so many people wanting or having the tendency to commit crimes against us why is the Democratic Party fighting against law abiding citizens to have the ability to protect ourselves from these criminals.
Your guess is as good as mine, but I believe it has something to do with votes. Are you concerned that the current crop of Democratic leaders are willing to put votes above the safety of legal immigrants and American citizens?
