Tuesday, September 26 is National Voter Registration Day, and the Calhoun County Clerk’s Office wants to get as many people as they can registered.

Chief Deputy Clerk of Elections Teri Loew says that this November, there will be important elections at the local level, and since in Michigan you need to register 30 days before an election, you need to get registered soon. Monday, you can sign up to vote at the County Clerk’s Office, at the City Clerk’s Offices of Battle Creek and Springfield, and the Tekonsha Township Clerk’s Office.

For more information visit the County Clerk's website, or the Michigan Voter Information Center.
