Calhoun County Treasurer: We Can Help If You’re Late On Property Taxes

March 15. That's the deadline if you're late on your Calhoun County property taxes and you need help.

Calhoun County Treasurer Christine Schauer tells WBCK there are resources available for those who are behind on property taxes in the county, but she can't assist until those affected reach out to her office.

For those who owe 2013 property taxes, Schauer said foreclosure proceedings are mandated to take place after March 31, 2016 - unless those folks have reached out and started the assistance process by March 15.
