Capital Ave. SW and Jackson St. A Four-Way Stop Thursday

A downtown Battle Creek intersection that has been seeing traffic signal replacement will undergo a large change Thursday.

The City of Battle Creek says that starting at 7:30am Thursday, the traffic signals in the intersection of Capital Ave. SW and Jackson St. will be turned off and the intersection will be turned into a four-way stop. Motorists are reminded to be aware of the rules of a four-way stop, and to also be prepared for temporary lane closures at the intersection.

The work is expected to wrap up by the late of the afternoon or early evening.
