Car Seats Often Installed Wrong
Chances are not in your favor that a car seat installed in the back seat of your vehicle has been situated correctly. In fact, 70 percent of car seats are not installed properly, according to Kathy Issacson of the Early Childhood Connections program in Battle Creek.
Another car seat safety check event is planned for this Saturday, June 6 at Lakeview Ford Lincoln from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and allows parents to have their car seats checked by professionals who can assess if they are installed correctly, of the appropriate size for the age and size of the child, as well as whether or not the car seat is expired.
