Officials with the Michigan DNR are thanking innovators, from all over the world, which came up with hundreds of solutions to battle the invasion of Asian carp.

With results from twenty seven different counties, an expert panel will begin reviewing 353 different entries, and winners will be chosen from two rounds of judging, in February and March. Officials are looking for the best ideas, to keep the invasive species, which have already infested the Illinois River, out of Lake Michigan.
