CCW Permit Streamlining

Michigan concealed gun licenses will no longer be issued by local law enforcement starting next week and responsibilities instead will be transferred to county clerks and the state police. County gun boards, which issue 115,000 licenses annually, will be eliminated Tuesday under a law designed to streamline licensing and make it more uniform.
