Charges Dropped For Mateen Cleaves

All charges have been dropped in a sexual assault suit against former Michigan State basketball star Mateen Cleaves. Cleaves was accused of sexually assaulting a woman, following a charity golf event. The Associated Press reports that Judge Cathy David in Flint, Michigan, said on Monday that there wasn’t enough evidence to send Cleaves to trial. A woman claimed that she twice tried to get away from Cleaves, but was pulled back into a motel room and sexually assaulted in September 2015.
