Child Hit by Car in Critical Condition

A child was hurt yesterday in Battle Creek when he rode his bike into an intersection and was hit by a car.  Police say the 9-year-old failed to stop at the sign on Wren Street at Maple Grove when he was hit.  The boy was taken to a hospital in Kalamazoo in critical condition.
