City Services In Battle Creek Changed Due To Holiday

Trash pickup should not be changed by the 4th of July holiday this year, but some city services in Battle Creek will be cut.  Here is the info from a city press release:

Waste Management to keep regular schedule around July 4

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Because the Fourth of July holiday falls on a Saturday this year, the trash and recycling pickup in the city will follow the regular schedule both the week before and week after.

Waste Management will pick up trash and recycling, as usual, on Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 6.

Residents should place their trash, recycling and yard waste at the curb on their regular service day. For more information, the Waste Management customer service phone number is (800) 796-9696.

As a reminder, city offices will be closed for the holiday on July 3. There will be no Battle Creek Transit bus or van service on Friday and Saturday, July 3 and 4.
