(AP) A walk to promote clean, affordable water has ended in Flint, a week after it began miles away in Detroit.

Dozens joined the 70 mile hike and two people made it the whole way.

The Flint Journal reports water has been a hot topic in Detroit for more than a year, especially because of shutoffs due to unpaid bills.

In Flint, the issue has been clean water. City officials say the water from the Flint River is safe to drink despite complaints about smell, taste and appearance.
