Republicans in the Michigan legislature are looking to cut taxes for Michigan residents. However, as the Associated Press reports, it may be too late. After commanding the legislative agenda for six years, GOP lawmakers are pushing to gradually repeal the 4.25 percent personal income tax. However, legislators will likely run into a few snags, particularly from future budget pressures created by the Legislature itself.
