Two men from the Detroit area have been arrested after a fraud bust.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says that deputies were called to the 115 Truck Stop in Marengo Township, around 3am Sunday, on reports of credit card fraud. The suspects were found at the Love's Truck Stop a short time later, near Marshall.

When authorities arrived, one of the suspects was attempting to flush cloned credit cards down a truck stop toilet.

A 27-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both from Redford Michigan, were arrested, while a 26-year-old woman was detained and released. One of the men had to be restrained after they attempted to kick out the window of a patrol car, hitting several officers in the process.

Inside the suspect vehicle, authorities found thousands of dollars forth of alcohol, cigarettes and clothing, that had been bought in Northern Indiana and Lower Michigan. The investigation into the fraud continues.
