Deputies Raid Home In Springfield

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office raided a suspected drug house in Springfield yesterday.

The Special Response Team searched the house on Avenue B shortly after 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies say that the search turned up a large marijuana grow operation, hallucinogenic mushrooms, prescription pills and a number of illegal weapons.

Investigators say they will seek a number of felony charges against a 32-year-old man.
