Christmas is already on its way to downtown Detroit. The city’s official Christmas tree is expected this week at Campus Martius Park. According to the Associated Press, a crane will raise the Norway spruce on Wednesday. The spruce weighs more than 10,000 pounds and stands more than 60 feet tall. A ceremony is scheduled for noon on Wednesday, in which Cass Tech High School’s marching band will perform.
