Did You Know Aretha Franklin Covered Prince?

This may be the most amazing Prince cover I've ever heard.

Quick back story...Prince originally wrote and recorded "Nothing Compares 2 U" in 1984 but did not release it.  He later gave it to a band called The Family a year later.  However, the song became a #1 hit when Sinead O'Connor covered it in 1990.

Since then Prince released a version with Rosie Gaines and there have been incredible covers by country artist Chris Stapleton as well as rocker Chris Cornell with his daughter Toni.

Then I find this!  From the album "Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics" here is one of the most amazing covers ever!

Detroit native and Queen of Soul, much like Prince, you can never be replaced.
