Driver Killed In Battle Creek Crash

One person was killed this morning when a car crashed in Battle Creek.

The crash was reported to police at around 1:30 a.m. on West Michigan Avenue.

When officers got to the scene, they found an eastbound car that had hit a utility pole and flipped over.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are still investigating but preliminary results indicate speed may have been a factor in the crash.
