New testing grounds, for driverless cars have been purchased in Ypsilanti Township. The Associated Press reports that the site of a former General Motors plant has been purchased for 1.2 million dollars. Developers of the proposed American Center for Mobility have bought Willow Run, in Ypsilanti. The 311 acre site was highlighted by Governor Rick Snyder, during his state of the state address, last January.
