Drug Bust In Springfield Leads To Arrest, Recovery Of Firearm

A Battle Creek area man is in jail Saturday morning after citizen complaints led to deputies investigating.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Wyndtree Townhomes in Springfield around 11pm Friday, and at the residence authorities found Suboxone strips, marijuana, and a large amount of methamphetamine.

As well, items used for drug packaging and sales and a 9mm handgun were found. A 27-year-old Springfield man was arrested at the scene, and is facing multiple drug charges.
