Emmett Township Authorities Arrest Suspect In February 25 Robbery

Emmett Township Public Safety Officers have arrested a 40-year-old Battle Creek man on robbery charges, after tips from the public.

Tips posted on the department's Facebook page helped authorities locate the suspect in the robbery of Duffy's Party Store on February 25.  Authorities say that the man entered the party store, and forcibly stole money from the store.

Through investigation, the suspect has also been connected to several other counts of retail fraud throughout Calhoun County.

The suspect was arrested and is lodged at the Calhoun County Jail.  His name is being held, pending arraignment.
