Emmett Township Woman Injured In Fire

An Emmett Township woman was seriously burned in a house fire on Cherokee Street, early Sunday morning.

According to Newschannel 3, when firefighters arrived on the scene, just after 1 AM, the fire had spread from the garage and began to engulf the house.

The 60 year-old woman who escaped the blaze was hospitalized at Bronson Kalamazoo and is in critical condition.
