Employee Robbed In Battle Creek

Battle Creek Police responded to the Metro PCS located on Capital Ave NE for an armed robbery, Saturday evening.

Authorities say that an employee had closed the store for the night and was approached at their vehicle by a black male dressed in all black and wearing a mask and hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect showed a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded the cash from the employee and fled on foot through the parking lot.

A K-9 track was done by Calhoun County Sheriff Department however the suspect was not located.

There were no injuries and the case is still under investigation.
