A suspected drug induced semi-driver lead police in a 48 mile chase, Thursday, on I-94, covering two states, finally getting stopped at Exit 22 in Stevensville, Michigan.

According to MLive.Com, the chase began after the Indiana State Police received reports about a semi-driver driving erratically, striking other vehicles and construction barrels.

After forcing police cars off the road and evading stop-sticks the semi came to a stop after a Michigan State trooper shot out a tire on the truck, forcing it to stop, jack-knifing at the top of the exit ramp of exit 22.

It is suspected that the driver was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident.
