The Battle Creek Bombers struggled in the field with two of their four errors in a three-run third to fall 5-1 to the Rochester Honkers Monday night. The loss ends a four-game winning streak for the Bombers (4-3), who moved up to second place in the Northwoods League's South Division during that stretch.

The win for the Honkers (4-1) keep them in a tie for second place in the North Division with the St. Cloud Rox.

Tyler Walsh (Belmont) struck his first homer of the season and the dinger for the Bombers this season. Matthew Simmons (Gardner-Webb) added two hits on the night.

Edgar Sanchez (Cedar Valley College) allowed four runs on five hits in four innings of work to suffer the loss. He falls to 1-1 on the season.

The Bomb Squad will look to split the series with the Honkers Tuesday with a special 10:05 a.m. first pitch at C.O. Brown Stadium.
