Beat cabin fever by spending some time Saturday, Feb. 2, in historic Marshall at their Ice, Wine, Beer & Blues Festival. Chief Noonday Chapter of the North Country Trail Association will sponsor a short free, guided hike from 2-6 miles (length is your choice) along the Marshall River Trail on paved surfaces. Hikers meet and park at 2:30 pm across from the Dark Horse Brewery, 511 S Kalamazoo Ave, Marshall, MI. Optional meal afterwards at Dark Horse or at the Down Stage Barbeque ($10) at the Franke Arts Center from 5-7 pm. Blues are in the evening at 7-11 pm at the Franke Arts Center, 214 E Mansion.
