Join us for the next segment in the Hackett Auto Museum Speaker Series - "A Discussion with Chris Lezotte."

A Motor City native, Chris Lezotte, Ph.D., spent much of her past life in the ad business as a VP Creative Group Supervisor, creating award-winning commercials for clients such as Buick and GMC truck. After exiting her advertising career, Chris completed a master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies at Eastern Michigan University in 2009, followed by a Ph.D. in American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University in 2015. Chris’ body of work examines the relationship between women and cars in a variety of contexts. Chris has been published in a number of academic journals and her first book – Power Under Her Foot: Women Enthusiasts of American Muscle Cars – was released in June 2018.
