Hackett Auto Museum Speaker Series: An Evening with Jim Hinckley

Jim Hinckley will kick off the 2018-2019 Hackett Auto Museum Speaker Series on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Jackson Makerspace (formerly Tomlinson Elementary School), located at 730 Tomlinson St. There will be a suggested $5 donation at the door.

Jim is a former Associate Editor of Cars and Parts Magazine, author of multiple books and a national expert on Route 66, America's Main Street.

In 2013, Jim started "Jim Hinckley's America," which began as a weekly radio show in New Mexico. The show chronicles the grand adventure on Route 66 and the road less traveled. Jim returns to his roots in Jackson with a presentation on the evolution that gave rise to Route 66 and the Good Roads Movement.
