Quilt Show – “STARS OVER THE THORNAPPLE”

The TRR Quilt Guild will host "Stars Over The Thornapple" quilt show with vendors, demonstrations, door prizes, lunch and of course, TONS of QUILTS!

The show runs from 9:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday March 14 and Sunday March 15 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM on March 15.

There will be a sewing machine maintenance booth so bring your machines with you if they need cleaning and oiling. A fellow will be there Saturday (only) to sharpen knives for $5 and scissors (both straight and zig-zag) for $7. Other vendors will have fabrics, gadgets, patterns, pottery, jewelry, wood products, stained glass and apparel.

The Raffle Quilt is an oversize queen (95 X 102") Edyta Sitar design called "Sunset Star" and it's done in rich batiks. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5
and will be available at the show or at Sisters Fabrics in Hastings, MI  before
the show.

Barry County Expo will again be the site of the show. The Expo is located between Hastings and Middleville at 1350 N. M-37 Highway.

Portions of the proceeds wil go to Green Gables Haven women and children's shelter and Barry County Cares, formerly Love, Inc.

Special Guest Quilter Kathleen Tracy will present a trunk show of her vintage patterns at 1:00PM  Saturday. Katheen is the author of 4 books about
old-fashioned quilts, doll clothes and doll quilts. She will be available to
sign her books from 10 until 4 on Saturday.
