The Calhoun County Genealogical Society (CCGS) will present a “Researching the War of 1812” Program, Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the LDS Church, 16036 Old 27 North, Marshall, MI.

This program will help those who want to learn more about the War of 1812 and how to research War of 1812 veterans. James Jackson will start the program with an overview of the war. How to research your War of 1812 veteran will be presented as well.

CCGS has been helping people discover their family history for over 25 years. The society offers monthly programs that help people search for ancestors. The “Researching the War of 1812” program is free and open to the public.
