On Saturday, December 8, MGBC Drama of Marshall proudly presents their two-act comedy, "The Disappearing Mr. Rosencrantz". It will be presented at the Franke Center for the Arts at 214 E. Mansion in Marshall, MI. The curtain rises at 6:30 p.m. It tells the holiday story of a grieving resident in a nursing home who copes by attempting to escape. Along the way is a lot of madcap fun as one man learns about the love of others. The serenity of the home is threatened by a French thief and his band of comical young cronies. "While nursing homes aren’t usually thought on as the source for lighthearted amusement, you haven’t visited ours yet. Our play presents the reality of working through loss. Our story seeks to do that in an entertaining way," says Program Director Bill Cole. "God never abandons us, no matter what. This Christmas entertainment will lift you up." MGBC Drama is a ministry of Maple Grove Bible Church. Doors will open one hour early at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Seating is free general admission. For (269) 789-1848 for more information.
