A Jackson man has honored a veteran, who died in a motorcycle crash, near his home, one week ago. The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports that twenty six year old Joshua VanBelzen, of Ypsilanti died on August 26th, in a crash outside James McCarter’s Home. VanBelzen was leaving a veterans’ presentation and was traveling behind other riders when he failed to negotiate a curve. While 20 friends waited at the scene, homeowner McCarter brought out an American flag to drape over his body.
