Family Doctor Shortage Leads to Bronson Expansion in Battle Creek

A 14,000-square foot primary care facility now under construction on Watkins Road in Battle Creek is as a direct result of fewer choices in Calhoun County for family practitioners.

Laurel Barber, Bronson Healthcare Group vice president tells WBCK seven physicians will be located at the new facility, two of whom have already been hired. It is expected the facility will open in the spring of 2017.

Ground was broken August 16, 2016 on-site at 2900 Watkins Road, near I-94 and Helmer Road.
