The wait is over.

Staunch Star Wars fans had their force tested, waiting months and months to see the latest film. Some turned out dressed in Star Wars garb, complete with lightsabers and other costumes.

For the most part, reaction has been positive from the die-hards. Many of them seem to prefer this pick-up-the-story sort of angle, in this case set 30 years after Return of the Jedi - as opposed to other Star Wars installments, which have been prequels. Makes sense, after all. It's always fun to see where our heroes have ended up after a bunch of time has gone by. In this case, we catch up with Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia all these years later.

Celebration Cinema in Portage offers Star Wars: The Force Awakens in three formats: IMAZ, D-Box and 3D.
