What is a mayor to do?

Well I certainly do not think they should criticize the homeless advocacy groups for all of the feces, garbage and drug needless that have overtaken the city.

KNTV is reporting on San Francisco’s Mayor, London Breed, lamenting that the city is being overrun by feces, garbage and drug needles deposited by their homeless.

The Mayor was quoted in the article stating:

There is more feces on the sidewalks than I’ve ever seen growing up here…That is a huge problem and we are not just talking about from dogs — we’re talking about from humans

A preschool teacher Adelita Orellana told KNTV:

We see poop, we see pee, we see needles, and we see trash…Sometimes they ask what is it, and that’s a conversation that’s a little difficult to have with a 2-year old, but we just let them know that those things are full of germs, that they are dangerous, and they should never be touched

KNTV reported that the Mayor criticized the homeless advocacy groups in her city saying that they are not doing a good enough job teaching their clients how to keep the streets clean:

I work hard to make sure your programs are funded for the purposes of trying to get these individuals help, and what I am asking you to do is work with your clients and ask them to at least have respect for the community — at least, clean up after themselves and show respect to one another and people in the neighborhood

Their clients?

How do you teach a person not to defecate on the streets or if they do or have to, that they need to clean up after themselves.

REALLY!

The city stated that there are approximately 7,500 homeless people living in San Francisco.  The city also reported that they spent approximately $280 million this year on housing services for the homeless. Do you realize that is approximately $37,000 a year per homeless person, and they still cannot keep their streets relatively clean from this illegal dumping.

The Daily Caller reported on a full page ad in a San Francisco paper, paid for by The Fed Up Populace Campaign that stated:

Watch your backs — nobody else is

It was signed by an “anonymous disgusted female San Francisco resident (for now).”

Might it have something to do with the people, policies and party that runs the city?
