Festival Market Square Work Resumes

Work has resumed on the new Festival Market Square in downtown Battle Creek.

Officials say the hope is to wrap-up construction early next month.

Several components were completed before cold weather arrived in November, with most of the underground work finished and concrete poured.

Awnings will be put up over the next two weeks, followed by final concrete work, landscaping and other amenities.

The target date of completion is before the first farmer’s market of the year on May 2^nd.
