Barb Haluzska packs a lot of energy into her daily routine. Get her talking about the Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival, and that energy comes through.

"I have a lot of great volunteers," she says about the coordinating of the annual event over the Independence Day weekend in Battle Creek. Some might say they get a lot of their energy from Barb.

This year's event features a new attraction: Tora! Tora! Tora! - described as a commemorative Pearl Harbor re-enactment. The staging is said to include more than 60 pyrotechnical effects.

As well, a United States Air Force demonstration team will show off the F-22 Raptor aircraft as part of the show.

Add to that two fireworks displays, a carnival, a half-marathon/5K run, the Speedfest 1/2 mile car races, and of course, over 30 confirmed hot air balloons.
