The Western Michigan Broncos are preparing for their 2016 season, and fourth-year head coach PJ Fleck has his third-straight Mid-American Conference-best recruit class in camp. A former Harper Creek star, a preferred walk-on, got a big boost this week from not only his Bronco family, but an A-Lister from Hollywood.

Kasey Carson, who played quarterback, running back and in the secondary for the Beavers, is a redshirt sophomore linebacker at Western. It was a great scene Saturday morning at Waldo, as Fleck helped debuted the newest uniform the Broncos will hit the gridiron this season. There was also a challenge from Fleck on who should take him down to the turf. Carson was hand-picked by Fleck and the fun ensued...

Congrats to Kasey, a past WBCK Athlete of the Week, on his award!
