Four Injured In Marshall Township Crash

Four people were hurt last night during a two-vehicle crash in the Marshall Township area.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. on Verona Road near H Drive North.

Investigators say an SUV driven by a 16-year-old boy from Battle Creek was involved in a collision with a car driven by a 21-year-old Bellevue man.

The Battle Creek boy and a 17-year-old girl in the SUV with him were treated for minor injuries.

The Bellevue man and a 19-year-old female passenger were trapped in their car and had to be airlifted to Kalamazoo for treatment.

The man is in critical condition, the woman’s condition is listed as “serious.”  The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
