Garage Destroyed In Fire

A fire in Battle Creek yesterday resulted in the total destruction of a garage.

The fire was reported at around 4:20 in the afternoon at a house on Chapel Hill Drive.

When crews arrived at the scene they quickly knocked down part of the garage to keep the fire from spreading to the house.

The total loss is being estimated at $55-thousand dollars.  No injuries were reported.
