For several years, the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners participates in the Michigan International Auto Show at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. Typically, their display centers around a specific theme.

This year, it's all about fins! The fins on 1950's cars, that is! As you can see from the photo above, the display lives up to its goal to show off some of the greatest 1950's cars with fins ever made - some of which aren't even yet on display at the museum in Hickory Corners.

The Michigan International Auto Show is now open to the public and runs through Sunday, February 8. The newest cars available in dealerships are on display at the show, as well as some of the most expensive cars - like Ferraris and Rolls Royces - are able to be seen. Top that off with a visit to the Gilmore Car Museum's display, and you've got a fun time!

Hear the Gilmore Car Museum Update every Wednesday at 8:45am on The Richard Piet Show on WBCK!
