Go-Go..Go To A Free Car show

It isn’t often that you can load-up the car with the family and take an outing that will not cost you a dime, unless you decide to take in dinner. All you need to do is point your vehicle towards downtown Galesburg and look for GoGo Classic Cars & Showroom. It isn’t hard to find GoGo; it’s the old Ford dealership in the heart of Galesburg.

Every Tuesday GoGo hosts a free classic car show which draws a hundred or more participants. GMC Catering has an outdoor food tent that offers brats, hot dogs, pulled pork, brisket, mac & cheese, cole slaw and an occasional fish fry. All of the fixin’s are supplied by Galesburg Meat Company and features local pork and beef.

The event takes place from 5-8 PM and offers shady resting places to chow down or just simply sit.
