For the forth consecutive year in a row, God's Kitchen - Battle Creek is honored to host the community Pre-Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, November 23rd at First Congregational Church, 145 Capital Avenue NE. Dinner is free, open to the general public, and served from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu will include roasted and smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans, sweet corn, dinner rolls, pies (apple, cherry, pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato), and punch.

Title sponsors for this year's event are the Battle Creek Fights Hunger Fund and Lakeview Middle School National Junior Honor Society. Other sponsors include God's Kitchen - Battle Creek, Arcadia Brewing Company, Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Plumbers and Pipefitters UL#333, IBEW UL#445, Motor Shop Electrical Construction Co., Shepherd's House, Full Gospel Deliverance Center, Calhoun County Sheriff's Department, Coveris, Battle Creek Aerie #299 Fraternal Order of Eagles, Republic Services, Meijer, Sam's Club and Walmart.

God's Kitchen - Battle Creek is a 501(c)(3) church-owned soup kitchen. To date, the charity has served more than 96,000 meals since it opened on October 11, 2011.
