God’s Kitchen to Host Community Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, November 23

For the forth consecutive year in a row, God's Kitchen - Battle Creek is honored to host the community Pre-Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, November 23rd at First Congregational Church, 145 Capital Avenue NE. Dinner is free, open to the general public, and served from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu will include roasted and smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans, sweet corn, dinner rolls, pies (apple, cherry, pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato), and punch.

Title sponsors for this year's event are the Battle Creek Fights Hunger Fund and Lakeview Middle School National Junior Honor Society. God's Kitchen - Battle Creek is a 501(c)(3) church-owned soup kitchen. To date, the charity has served more than 96,000 meals since it opened on October 11, 2011.
