Sorority and fraternity members at Central Michigan University are cleaning up their streets. The Associated Press reports that around 70 sorority and fraternity members at CMU are expected to help clear local neighborhoods of trash and debris. Organizers of the “Greeks Clean the Streets” program say up to 40 bags of trash are typically collected. According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, the neighborhood cleanup is part of a partnership the city established five years ago.
