I truly think some people just don’t understand  how the real world works. For instance, if you put a grenade in a donation box at a thrift store, people will panic. That is exactly what happened in Ludington. Mlive reported that the Michigan State Police bomb squad had to be called out. Luckily the grenade turned out to be a dud, but why put people through all that?

Turns out this isn’t the first time something like this has happened in West Michigan. Back in 2014 live practice grenades were left in a donation box for the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.

Authorities are saying if you have military items or relics you want to throw out or just get rid of, contact police officials to make arrangements.
